A Note on Vintage Sizing

Vintage garments were made to different sizing standards than modern clothing. A "Medium" from 1990 may fit like a modern "Small", and sizing varies significantly between brands, decades, and countries of origin.

For this reason, every VINTORA listing includes specific garment measurements — chest, waist, length, and sleeve — taken flat and doubled where applicable. We strongly recommend comparing these measurements against a garment you already own and love, rather than relying on the label size.

How to measure:

Lay a similar garment flat on a surface. Measure chest (armpit to armpit), length (collar to hem), sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff), and waist (side to side at the narrowest point). Compare these to the measurements listed on the product page.
