2. Product Descriptions

All items sold by VINTORA are pre-owned vintage garments unless otherwise stated. We make every effort to describe and photograph each item accurately, including noting any flaws, wear, or imperfections.

Due to the nature of vintage clothing:

• Colours may vary slightly from photographs due to screen settings and lighting
• Label sizes may not correspond to modern sizing — always refer to the measurements provided in the listing
• Minor signs of wear consistent with the garment's age (e.g. slight softening of fabric, gentle wash fade) are characteristic of vintage and are not considered defects

All items are sold as one-of-one pieces. Once an item is sold, it cannot be reordered or replaced with an identical item.

3. Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an order on vintora.eu, you are making an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example if the item is no longer available due to a cross-platform sale, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include Irish VAT at the applicable rate, except for the UK. For the UK, prices are displayed in British Pound (£).

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

5. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of checkout. We accept the payment methods listed in our Payment Policy. Orders are not reserved or held without payment.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Please refer to our Postage & Shipping Policy for full details on delivery timeframes and packaging. We ship to the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom, and across the European Union.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. Title to the goods passes to you upon receipt of full payment.

7. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details. You have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under Irish and EU distance selling regulations. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

8. Customs & Import Duties

Orders shipped within the EU incur no customs duties or import charges. Orders shipped to the United Kingdom may be subject to UK customs duties and VAT for orders exceeding £135 in value; any such charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Please refer to the Customs & Duties section of our Postage & Shipping Policy for further details.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by Irish law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VINTORA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or purchase of products.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant item(s).

10. Intellectual Property

All content on vintora.eu — including photographs, product descriptions, logos, and design elements — is owned by VINTORA and protected by copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Brand names and trademarks used in product descriptions (e.g. "Ralph Lauren", "Burberry") are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.

11. Website Use

You agree to use vintora.eu for lawful purposes only. You must not use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with other users.

We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. You are responsible for ensuring your own IT systems are appropriately protected.

12. Third-Party Platforms

VINTORA also sells on eBay, Depop, Vinted, and Vestiaire Collective. Purchases made on those platforms are subject to each platform's own terms, buyer protection, and dispute resolution processes, in addition to your statutory rights under Irish and EU law.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

If you are not satisfied with our resolution of a complaint, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
